John Fontaine

Hey there! My name is John. I’m originally from Minnesota and made the move to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2020 with my wife, Michelle, and our two German Shepherds, Athena and Estella.

Before diving into real estate, I spent six years in law enforcement—two of those years here in North Idaho and four as a deputy sheriff back in Wisconsin. Prior to that, I earned a degree in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. My journey of service started even earlier, when I enlisted in the Army at 17. By the time I was 19, I was deployed to Afghanistan where I took part in combat operations as an infantryman.

After dedicating over a decade of my life to serving the U.S. government, I’m beyond grateful to now be focused on helping people find their place in the world—especially here in beautiful North Idaho.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my dogs. Whether it’s hiking, fly fishing, hunting, camping, playing hockey, skiing, or simply exploring new places with Michelle and our dogs—I’m always chasing the next adventure.

Austin Johnson

Austin has built his life around service, hard work, and community. At 17, he joined the Army and in 2012 deployed to Afghanistan as a Flight Medic, where he provided care to soldiers in some of the worst conditions.

After returning home, he earned a degree in Criminal Justice and spent nearly five years in Wisconsin law enforcement as a police officer and deputy sheriff, serving on the SWAT team and working as a narcotics investigator.

In 2022, Austin and his family moved to Idaho, where he opened a successful archery shop before turning his focus to real estate. He takes the values that shaped his life—hard work, honesty, and dedication—and puts them into every client relationship.

Outside of real estate, Austin is a husband, father, rodeo competitor, and passionate outdoorsman. He spends much of his free time in the rodeo arena riding broncs or in the Idaho mountains bowhunting and fishing. Archery and the outdoors have always been a big part of his life, and he enjoys passing those traditions down to his family. For Austin, real estate is about more than transactions—it’s about helping families build their future, just as he’s building his own through faith, family, and the Western way of life.

Born and raised in Idaho, I come from a multigenerational construction family where craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work were more than just values — they were a way of life. After spending 20 years in Law Enforcement, including serving as a SWAT team member, I’ve returned to my roots with a clear mission: to carry on the legacy of quality construction and build homes that truly matter.

Throughout my law enforcement career, I learned how to connect with people from all walks of life. I also came to understand that a man’s word is his bond — and once broken, it can’t be repaired. With sixteen years of experience in law enforcement in the Coeur d Alene area, in recent years, Spencer has transitioned into construction and manufacturing project management. Spencer leads projects with a focus on seamless execution, cost control, and stakeholder alignment. His background includes five years of project management in custom home building, along with hands-on experience in CLT manufacturing and supervisory roles. Spencer has recent experience with mass timber project management, bringing a detail-oriented approach to complex CLT and glulam structures.

Throughout his career, he has successfully overseen 50+ projects across North America, building strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
